  • 1 January 2027: Obligation for societies (as a limited liability company) to use software compatible with Veri*factu.
  • 1 July 2027: Obligation for self-employed people to use software compatible with Veri*factu.

Penalties for using non-compliant software


According to the article Article 201 bis of the General Tax Law (LGT),
Using software that does not guarantee the integrity, preservation, traceability and inalterability of data may result in a fine of up to 50.000 €, for each financial year in which the non-compliant software has been used.
